Absolute Radio Land Touchdown with Exclusive NFL Rights in the UK Including Super Bowl



Absolute Radio has secured the commentary rights for American football in an exclusive national radio rights deal that will culminate in one of the world's biggest sporting spectaculars, The Super Bowl, along with its world-famous half-time entertainment show.



NFL games will be heard weekly for the first time on commercial radio with one of the stations digital brands, Absolute Radio 90s, set to broadcast twenty games across the season on Sunday nights.



NFL fans won't be disappointed because coverage doesn't stop there. The station will also bring live and exclusive radio commentary in the UK from the league's two Wembley Stadium fixtures on 29th September and 27th October.



Commentary will be heard on Absolute Radio 90s every Sunday night between 9pm and midnight and will be fronted by Fox and Sky Sports broadcaster Adam Hunt. Darren Fletcher joins the Absolute Radio team to commentate on The Super Bowl, which will feature on the main station, while there will be digital hub and social media channels to keep listeners up to date.



Sports fans will now be treated to an entire weekend of sport on Absolute Radio, with Ian Wright's Rock 'N' Roll Football continuing to bring Barclays Premier League football commentary and analysis on the Saturday.
